I’ve just completed my Master of Design in Inclusive Design degree at OCAD University. The focus of my major research project was “Creating an Inclusive Web Framework: Moving towards accessible and usable web design.”
I have more than 14 years of web experience from content management, content creation, to analytics and design.
I keep on top of web accessibility and usability issues by reading loads of blogs, newsletters and listservs and by perusing other design sites. I’m familiar with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
I’ve worked in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors, and have recently worked as a User Experience (UX) Designer and Researcher through a school internship (see projects), as well as working on a part-time contract with the Cabinet Office for the Government of Ontario. I continually manage freelance projects.
I love beautiful design, keeping up to date with style and development blogs, admiring lovely fonts and I’m always up for a good laugh.

The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.
